The Wildlife Research Institute, in Romona California, is dedicated to rescuing and raising birds of prey. Every Saturday in February they present Hawk Watch. A 3 hour presentation of all their beloved birds complete with informative facts and a wonderful viewing experience. After the presentation they provide a great low cost lunch of grilled bratwurst and hot dogs, and then a drive down the street to look for wild birds. We saw bald eagles, but they were on private property, too far away to photograph. We saw them through the scopes that were set up.
